We are proud to partner with the Marko Niketic Foundation for this event. Marko was a Glenbrook South student tragically killed by a drunk driver in Glenview earlier this year. With your voluntary donation, $5 of all player costs goes directly to the Marko Niketic Foundation, honoring his name and working to fight underage drinking and drunk driving in our community.
Please join us even if you choose not to skate. Will be a great chance to reminisce and reconnect on and off the ice.

Honor Garden for Marko Niketic
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, participated in, and contributed to the success of the “Marko’s Garden Dedication” event. We are currently finalizing the details in collaboration with The Glenview Park District and the Village of Glenview. We anticipate sharing renderings and announcing a groundbreaking date soon. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we work to ensure all aspects are thoroughly prepared. Our target is to commence construction in Spring 2025, and we will provide further updates as soon as everything is confirmed.
Thank you for the amazing photographs taken by @rosemaryjphotography and @tommy_casey on instagram.
While Marko Niketic will live forever in our hearts, we would also like to create a space in our community to physically honor his life and the impact he has on his family and friends. Together, we are creating an honor garden to pay tribute to Marko: loving son, wonderful brother, and friend to so many.
Please consider contributing to the design and execution of this tribute. Your support will help us craft a beautiful and lasting memorial that reflects the love and joy Marko brought into our lives.
Thank you to The Shute Family for all their love & Support for “Marko’s Garden”
Thank you for your generosity and support.
